Okay, this is my very first big project I'm working on so I guess it would be a good time to introduce it. First off, this story has about 37 chapters and around 40-50 pages per chapter. (That's what I planned when writing it.) So, if we actually do this story, and thats two many pages, I can easily cut some chapters into two. Just thought I would point that out.
Princess Flora, from a medival-like realm called Corona, carries a magical jewel pendent. It's believed to contain the spirit "Goddess", Corina. With it, her family has been come to known as Spirit Mediums. Powerful beings, which have the ability to come into contact with those spirits who, have not fully crossed over. When Flora was only 9 years old, she received this pendant from her mother, Queen Ruby. Ever since receiving the pendent, Flora has practiced speaking with the dead, for the last 8 years while following the words of the legend behind the "Goddess".
The Legend
A long long time ago when Corina was still alive, she was the only medium on Corona. That was why she got her name. Corona meant "crown" and Corina meant the crown's "maiden". Everyone looked up to Corina for advice and healing because with the powers of being able to take to spirits, she also carried pure white feathered wings that were used for healing and wishing upon for both the living and dead. Mysteriously one night in the middle of a forest by a pond, Corina was found dead by villagers, but there were no signs of wounds or struggle. They saw that her pendant was still glowing and to this day, they believe that she wanted to continue to help her people forever in her spirit form. And her pendant was passed down royalty, her voice still echoes saying these words: "Come with me and you will see my dreams, my fears, our destiny."
The Past
When Flora was still young, she met a boy who was about the same age, named Cintaru. This boy lived with his little sister, Mezo, and older brother, Xavier. In turned out that young Cintaru was learning to become a swordsman from his older brother. During these peaceful times, Flora had become greatly enjoyed and attached to this family. Unfortunately during a lunar eclipse, the silver full moon turned into a blood red moon. The living dead attacked the kingdom, but it did not last long, nor did it seem like there even a reason for it. The moon returned to its loving glow and the creatures left destruction to the kingdom. Upon finding his older brother's lifeless body, Cintaru vowed to himself that he would become a great warrior for his brother. He then made a promise to the young princess to protect her no matter what.
The Present
Now, in the present, Flora starts having dark visions from the spirit "Goddess" warning her of destruction to a place she has never seen before, but keeps to herself unsure what it could mean. Suddenly, two demons come to Corona purposely separating Cintaru from anyone else. When one of the demon has Cintaru alone, she tells him a secret about how his brother really died, but it is not revealed to the readers. Not long after, there was a fierce attack on Corona. Cintaru escapes Corona, but not before he tells Flora that he can't trust her anymore.
Flora is then forced to flee to Japan only to realize that this place was the unknown world she saw in her visions. She later learns of a dark legend called the Dark Moon, a dark event that happens during a lunar eclipse where a big demon is resurrected, which started centuries ago because of Flora's selfish ancestor, Geo, who has come back once again to bring forth this deadly event again. And now Cintaru is part of it, but Flora doesn't know why.
After many attempt of trying to kill Flora, she is almost killed by a spirit that Geo didn't send it this time. This spirit is actually one of many third party who wants to kill Flora and go against Geo's plan because, apparently, Flora hasn't killed "the one who gives life to the demon". Before finding out who give life to this dangerous demon, she learns that she is Corina's reincarnation. And if that wasn't bad enough, Flora finds out that she has to connect with her other half, Corina, before this Dark Moon takes place so she doesn't have to kill anyone to stop this big event because that's the last thing Flora wants to do. The problem is, her other half has no memory of how this connection is done or why she really even died. Now Flora has to help spirits of the dreadful pass cross over, stop the Dark Moon, and now help Corina find her six feathers (turns out to be seven later) before another lunar eclipse comes.
I'm not too good with writing out summaries, but I didn't want to bore you with a long bad summary XP. I can go into more detail with the chapters if/when needed though. I did start illustrating it, but the artist was really hard to work with (bad English), so we stopped and I fixed up chapter a little. Here's the site if anyone wants to see how it starts.
